    • How do you get a Tennessee Real Estate License?

      You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and     

           

      • Register for 90 hours of Pre-Licensing Education.
      • Complete the course final exam.
      • Submit the background check.
      • Pass the Tennessee Real Estate Exam.
      • File your license application.

    • Is Post-License required in Tennessee for brokers?

      All new Tennessee brokers must complete 120 hours of post-licensing education.  It must be completed within three years of obtaining and activating your license.

    • How do you get a Tennessee Broker License?

      If licensed after 1988, you must have an active sales license in Tennessee for 3 years. If you were licensed before 1988, or you have a baccalaureate degree with a major in real estate you will need only 2 years of active sales experience and


      • Complete 30 hours of approved Tennessee Managing Broker courses.
      • Complete the course final exam.
      • Submit the background check.
      • Complete the broker exam application.
      • Pass the Tennessee Real Estate Broker Exam.
      • Complete an online application with the Tennessee Real Estate Commission.
