    • How do you get a South Carolina Real Estate License?

      You must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and    


      • Complete 90 hours of pre-licensing education.
      • Complete the course final exam.
      • Complete the exam application.
      • Submit your background check.
      • Pass the South Carolina Real Estate Exam.
      • Choose a sponsoring brokerage.
      • File your license application.

    • Is Post-License required in South Carolina?

      The South Carolina Real Estate Commission does not require a post-license education. Once you have obtained your initial license, you must complete 10 hours of Continuing Education every 2 years.

    • How do you get a South Carolina Broker License?

      You must be 21 years or older have at least 3 years' experience as a salesman within the last 5 years. If you have a bachelor’s degree with a major in real estate, you do not have to take Real Estate Broker Courses and  


      • Complete the 150-hour required real estate education.
      • Complete the course final exam.
      • Complete the broker exam application.
      • Submit the background check. 
      • Pass the South Carolina Real Estate Broker Exam.
      • Complete an online application with the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
