    • How to get a Wisconsin Real Estate License?

      You must be 18 years or older and have a high school dipolma or GED equivalent.


      • Complete 72 hours of pre-licensing education. 
      • Pass the Wisconsin Real Estate Licensing Exam. 
      • Complete a background check.  
      • Submit your license application.
      • Complete the course final exam.

    • Is Post-License required in Wisconsin?

      The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional services does not require any Post License Education course. Once you receive your initial license, you must complete 18 hours of continuing eduation each biannual cycle to keep your license active.

    • How to get a Wisconsin Real Estate Brokers License?

      Must be 18 years or older and have a highschool dipolma or GED equivalent. 


      • Complete the 72-hour approved Wisconsin Real Estate Broker course.
      • Complete the course final exam. 
      • Pass the Wisconsin Real estate Managing Broker Exam.
      • Submit the background check.
      • File your license application.

    • Does Wisconsin offer Reciprocity?

      Yes. Wisconsin offers full reciprocity with two states, Illinois and Indiana for a salesperson license in Wisconsin. If you currently hold an active license from either of those states and your license was granted on the basis of passing the state examination, you would be exempt from taking the education and would just be required to complete the state license exam. If you hold a managing broker license or are licensed in a different state than the two previously mentioned the process would be as follows


      Salesperson:

      • Complete your 13-hour Wisconsin Non-Resident Salesperson Coursework.
      • Complete the course final exam.
      • Complete the verification of examination or reistration form to be completed by the State of Origial Licnensure.
      • Pass the wisconsin Salesperson Exam.
      • Affiliate with a broker registered in Wisconsin. 
      • Sign the Irrevocable Consent for Nonresidents Form. 
      • File your license application.

      Broker: 

      • Complete your 19-hour Wisconsin Non-Resident broker coursework. 
      • Complete the course final exam. 
      • Complete the Verification of Examination or Registration Form to be completed by the State of Orginal Licensure. 
      • Pass the Wisconsin Broker Exam.
      • Affilate with a broker registered in Wisconsin or File the Notice to Engage in Independent Practice. 
      • Sing the Irrevocable Consent For Nonresidents form. 
      • File your License Application.
