Complete 90 hours of broker pre-licensing education
Perry Real Estate College offers the Indiana Real Estate License Course completely online and at your own pace. In Indiana, a real estate agent is called a real estate "broker." Learn more about our course here.

Complete the course final exams
To pass the exam, students must earn at least a 75%.

Pass the Indiana Real Estate Examination
PSI administers the in-person state licensing exam. The exam is split into two different portions: a state portion and a national portion. The state portion consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. The national portion consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. You will need an 80%passing score on the national exam and a 76% passing score on the state portion of the exam.

Select a sponsoring broker
To be licensed, you must be associated with a current and active Indiana sponsoring broker. It's important to find the right broker to work with since this person will serve as your mentor as you start your new career in real estate.

Complete your real estate broker license application
To apply for your Indiana real estate license, you must submit your application to the Indiana Real Estate Commission.
