Leveraging your Sphere with Hometown Teams

As a local real estate agent, it's important to find creative ways to connect and engage with potential clients and building relationships in your community. One way to do this is by leveraging the energy around a winning local team, such as the Cincinnati Bengals.

I apologize immediately to any Kansas City Chiefs fans, but that game was going to be great no matter the outcome and I just love this picture. Also, WhoDey!

As an agent, you constantly want to engage with your audience to establish yourself not only as a knowledgeable agent but also as the local expert.  What better way to become a local expert than by celebrating the local sports teams?

Hosting tailgates before the big games is a great way to get to know people in the community and promote your business. You can set up a tent and grill, invite friends and clients, and hand out flyers and business cards. Tailgates are a fun, relaxed way for people to socialize and get to know you, and it's a great opportunity to connect with potential clients.

Another way to use the energy around the winning team to promote your business is by creating social media posts and ads that highlight the team and your expertise as a local real estate agent. For example, you could create posts about the best neighborhoods to live in for Bengals fans or offer tips for first-time home buyers who are also fans of the team. By connecting your business with the local sports team, you can tap into the excitement and enthusiasm of the team's fans and attract potential clients who share your passion for the team and the game.

You can also use your social media accounts to share photos and videos from tailgates and games, and use hashtags related to the team to increase the visibility and interaction of your posts. Additionally, you can create ads targeting the team’s fans on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram to reach a wider audience.

Another way to leverage the energy around the Bengals is by sending flyers and brochures to homes in the area. You can include information about your services as a real estate agent, as well as information about the team and why living in the area is a great choice for fans of the team. This is a great way to reach a large number of potential clients and promote your business.

In summary, there are many ways to use the energy around a winning local team like the Cincinnati Bengals to promote your business and meet new people. Hosting tailgates, sending flyers, and using social media are all effective strategies for connecting with potential clients and building relationships in the community. And if a client has a deep passion for the team, that can make it easier to select a closing gift. By leveraging the excitement and enthusiasm of the team's fans, you can attract new clients and grow your business.

Continuing Education (CE) is a crucial part of maintaining your license, but it’s also an opportunity to grow in your career. Every state has its own CE requirements, so it’s essential to stay informed and compliant with your local laws to avoid penalties or even losing your license.

Let’s start by making one thing clear: not all real estate schools are the same. There are different types of programs, and the one that’s best for you depends on how you learn best. Some schools offer in-person classes, where you attend scheduled lectures in a classroom setting. Others provide fully online courses, allowing you to study at your own pace from anywhere. Some programs have live virtual sessions at set times, while others are entirely self-guided. Choosing the right school isn’t just about availability, it’s about finding a format that fits you.
